America Under Attack!  A series of terrorist attacks leave the world in a state of shock.  We at SAS offer our deepest sympathies to the victims of the attacks.

KaBoom secured www.sasclan.tv for the clan!  Again, thanks KaBoom!

MEMBERS - If you have anything of even slight importance regarding my personal involvement or attention, please E-MAIL it to me.  Do not post it in the forum, I check it every other blue moon...  So please just e-mail it to me.  But if its for the whole clan - go ahead and post anything on the forum.  Also note that I'll delete anything that's outdated or irrelevant.  Thanks guys!  :)  Mav.

CHAOS IS IMPENDING!  Valve has released HL V 1.0.0.8.  This means that all the MODs (DoD Beta 2 included), will be soon releasing new versions that support all the little enhancements.  Coming in DoD Beta 2 will be real-time voice communication and this really cool fog effect.  It looks good, but getting everything updated on all the servers will 2 new updates will be chaos...

It's been a while since the last update.  So here it is!  We have a new member, an officer (the match officer) KaBoom.  He is going to be our guy for setting up games with other clans and whatnot.  Also, we have a 24/7 Dedicated server on a T1.  It can be found at 216.29.186.60 and is called "Stepped_On_De_Feat".  All thanks goes out to KaBoom for that one!

I've added a forum for members to post messages on.  However all major news articles will be posted here on the news board.  The site can now also be accessed at the following mirror: http://www.specialairservice-clan.cjb.net/ its a more relevant mirror listing.
The British SAS

The SAS was thought of by Captain David Stirling, who was hospitalized because of a parachute accident at the time. While in Hospital Captain Stirling evolved the idea of small 4 to 5 men raiding teams, instead of 50 men big commando units. The new small units could be dropped by parachute or infiltrated by jeeps or small boats, deep behind enemy lines to carry out sabotage or reconnaissance missions. When Stirling got out of hospital he persuade his General Sir Claude Auchinleck, commander-in-chief of Western Desert North Africa, to create small raiding units.
